I would like to remain anonymous

as much as I can for personal reasons...

but Shachar is my Hebrew name...

and it means "dawn" as in the sunrise...

I love that name

because it represents all that I wanted this website to capture...

each NewDay

we are given NewMercies

by our Father in heaven.

Whether we see them or not is widely up to our attitude

and ability to see God's blessings.

I cling to those mercies every ThisDay that I am given!

I received this content gradually from the LORD

as I studied over a couple decades

on a bed of affliction (my Patmos island)

after a car accident and a few surgeries.

I have always been a Treasure Seeker...

looking for the treasure hidden

in the rubble of ashes after tragedy or loss.

As I searched for peace in the pages of my Bible,

I found patterns that emerged

and reminded me of God's Love.

I found a few confirming sources

that showed me I was not making these patterns up...

other believers/pastors had recorded similar content.

After several difficult losses of those I love,

and continued health challenges,

I sensed that it was time to share what the LORD had given to me...

part of what kept me from remaining in a dark emotional place.

I used these daily Patterns/Prompts

to remind my soul of the God I serve...

and that He has been faithful

even when I couldn't/can't see it during a struggle...

but looking back,

He always shows me that

He never left me alone.

I share here what I have been given.

I'm still growing...

Though I am no longer what I used to be...

I am not yet what I shall be

when Christ returns for His Bride!

I am in process... like all of us.

And I keep growing

and moving closer to my Father in heaven...

These daily Patterns/Prompts help me

to keep my eyes fixed on Him!

I do not claim to have learned it all yet...

I believe we all need each other...

along with the teaching and guiding

of HolySpirit to learn more about

the God we serve,

ourselves,

and our fellow humans.

This site is dedicated to

supporting our spiritual journey

in the here and now (ThisDay),

guiding us to deepen our faith

and live with purpose.

Growing in the Word

and learning to hear HolySpirit guide us.

I include a lot of content...

though there is repetition...

only take what you can absorb for each ThisDay...

stay simple or go deeper with me...

and again, I do not claim to know it all...

but I do aim to not

in what I share...

with HolySpirit leading us
