ETERNITY - HEAVEN - THE PROMISE

Read before and after these passages to get the full meaning...

GOD - Isa 65:17-18 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;

And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.

"But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create;

For behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing

and her people for gladness. NASU

WORD - Isa 66:22-23 "For just as the new heavens and the new earth

which I make will endure before Me," declares the Lord,

"So your offspring and your name will endure.

"And it shall be from new moon to new moon

and from sabbath to sabbath,

all mankind will come

to bow down before Me," says the Lord. NASU

MANKIND - 2 Peter 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief,

in which the heavens will pass away

with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat,

and the earth and its works will be burned up.

Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way,

what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God,

because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning,

and the elements will melt with intense heat!

But according to His promise we are looking

for new heavens and a new earth,

in which righteousness dwells. NASU

SALVATION - 1 Thess 4:13-18 And we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers,

concerning those who have fallen asleep,

that you would not grieve as the rest of those who do not have hope.

For if we believe that Yeshua Jesus died and rose,

so God will also bring with Him those who have fallen asleep

by means of Yeshua’s redemption.

Indeed we say this to you in a word of the Lord,

that we, those left behind who are living to the coming of the Lord,

would not precede those who are sleeping:

because the Lord Himself will descend from heaven

with a command, with a voice of an archangel and with a shofar of God,

and the dead in Messiah will rise first (Rev 20:4),

then we, the living, those who are left behind,

will be taken away together with them into the clouds

to meet with the Lord in the air (Rev 20:5):

and thus we will always be with the Lord.

So you must continually comfort one another with these words. ONMB

HOLY SPIRIT - Luke 1:31-34 And behold you (Mary) will conceive in your womb

and you will bear a Son and will call His name Y’shua.

This One will be great

and He will be called Son of the Most High,

and the Lord God will give Him the throne of David His father,

and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever,

and His kingdom will not end.” ONMB

CHRIST - Acts 1:9-11 And after He had said these things,

He was lifted up while they were looking on,

and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going,

behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them.

They also said, "Men of Galilee,

why do you stand looking into the sky?

This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven,

will come in just the same way

as you have watched Him go into heaven." NASU

CROSS - John 14:1-4 “Do not let your heart be troubled;

believe in God,

believe also in Me.

"In My Father's house are many dwelling places;

if it were not so, I would have told you;

for I go to prepare a place for you.

"If I go and prepare a place for you,

I will come again and receive you to Myself,

that where I am,

there you may be also. NASU

PRAYER - Heb 11:16 But as it is, they desire a better country,

that is, a heavenly one.

Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God;

for He has prepared a city for them. NASU

COMMUNITY - Rev 7:14-17 "...These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation,

and they have washed their robes

and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

"For this reason, they are before the throne of God;

and they serve Him day and night in His temple;

and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.

"They will hunger no longer,

nor thirst anymore;

nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat;

for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd,

and will guide them to springs of the water of life;

and God will wipe every tear from their eyes." NASU

PROMISE - Rev 21:1-4 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth;

for the first heaven and the first earth passed away,

and there is no longer any sea.

And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,

coming down out of heaven from God,

made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne,

saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men,

and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people,

and God Himself will be among them,

and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes;

and there will no longer be any death;

there will no longer be

any mourning, or crying, or pain;

the first things have passed away." NASU

PROMISE - Rev 21:1-4 Then I saw a new sky and a new Earth. (Isa 65:17; 66:22)

For the first sky and the first land passed away, fading from sight, and the sea was no longer.

Then I saw the holy city, (Isa 52:1) new Jerusalem,

descending from heaven, from God,

prepared like a bride when she was adorned for her husband. (Isa 61:10)

Then I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,

“Behold the dwelling of God with mankind,

and He will dwell with them and they will be His people,

and God Himself, Imanuel,

will be with them, their God,

(Lev 26:11,12; Isa 7:14; Ezek 37:27; Zech 2:9; 2 Chron 6:18)

and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes

and death will no longer be,

there will be neither mourning nor crying or pain,

because the first things went away.” (Isa 25:8; 35:10; 65:19) ONMB

PROMISE - Rev 21:1-4 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,

for the old heaven and the old earth had passed away,

and the sea was no longer there.

Also I saw the holy city, New Yerushalayim,

coming down out of heaven from God,

prepared like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

I heard a loud voice from the throne say,

“See! God’s Sh’khinah is with mankind,

and he will live with them.

They will be his people, and he himself,

God-with-them, will be their God.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

There will no longer be any death;

and there will no longer be

any mourning, crying or pain;

because the old order has passed away.” CJB
