Stages of Growth in Christ

"Stages of Growth" is simply a label to help us understand the process of growing spiritually in the Kingdom of God.

Jesus also said, "The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, while he's asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens. And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come." Mark 4:26-29 NLT

To gain entrance to God's Kingdom we must first BE BORN spiritually. Once we are born of the Spirit, we begin to GROW roots of knowledge and understanding in His ways. Over time, we become spiritually STRONG in the LORD, in the power of His might. The outcome is to naturally NURTURE others into and within the Kingdom in the same way that we had been. We become citizens of another place-Heaven... but we still live on the earth. While on earth we learn to know God and love God, which helps us know people (ourself included) and love people with His love. We grow in this process until the time that we are transported out of our physical body (death) to be FOREVER with the LORD. There is so much to explore in God's Kingdom!
