SABBATH

***SABBATH-What is Sabbath?

According to GOD it is the 7th day of the week-Saturday….

The week BEGINS on Sunday (the first day)

and climbs daily up to its climactic holy Sabbath (seventh day).

God blessed the seventh day and separated it as holy;

because on that day God rested from all His work

which He had created, so that it itself could produce. Genesis 2:3 CJB

ThisDay was set apart…as HOLY for Mankind.

God wasn’t TIRED when He stopped!

It was a time when God looked over what He had created and was pleased.

The seventh day is a forever instituted blessing for Mankind to enjoy.

It is a Day for reflection, rest, worship, and restoration…

ThisDay is a day of fellowship…

and celebration for

all that God has done

and is doing

and will do.

It is a time to gather in a different rhythm…

to seek the LORD in His Written Word - Bible

to hear Him in the Revelation Word - Holy Spirit given

and praise Him as the Living Word - Yeshua/Jesus is Alive!

... just a note here in case you were wondering...

Christians are not required or commanded to become Jewish...

...but did God give the Sabbath only to the Jews?

There were no Jews in the first week of creation...

only one man and one woman.

Your schedule may not currently allow you to rest on Saturday,

but do make a day to stop each week...

and maybe change things so you can rest on Saturday?

How will you honor Sabbath rest?

That is between you and God.
