We will explore BABES -- Weeks 1-13.

Look on your phone calendar before Sunday and you will see a little number. This is counting the weeks, ending with Saturday.

Stage 1 -BABES are born... of the Spirit.

Jesus replied, "I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don't be surprised when I say, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can't tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can't explain how people are born of the Spirit." John 3:5-8 NLT

Dear Babe in Christ-

Don't freak out! Have you prayed the prayer to God asking Him to help you be born-again from above? And you don't know what to do next? Is doubt starting to be a loud voice in your thinking about this decision? Take a breath in the midst of anxiety and put all the 'What if' questions aside for a minute as you sit quiet in the Presence of the LORD...and listen.

Find your GRATEFUL statements in His Word... Ephesians 1 has much to say about that... who you are in Christ... what you have in His Kingdom... Who He is that will not change... What He has done that will not change... Find those foundational Truths on which to build your Faith!

Rest in Him! Let Him be the LORD as you surrender to Him the throne of your life...

Find a mature believer in Christ to talk to about your decision and how to grow in faith... and find a local community of believers (a church) where you can fellowship and learn where you fit in the Kingdom.

Pray for what you need in this moment... Ask for it... Seek for it... and keep Knocking until you find the answer in Him... He is faithful to answer... and sometimes the answers to our questions are already written in His Word.

THE SOVEREIGN PLACE

where God BREATHES and

LIFE is given as BABES are Born of the Spirit

into the Family of God.

Our Quarterly Scripture, Genesis 1,

tells us the story of the beginning of Life...and all things.

God spoke Ten Words of Creation...

(And God said:)...(He spoke to the):

1 Light…. And God said, “Light!

Be!... then He designated the division of Day and Night.

One Day... not First, because there was not yet any other day.

2 Firmament… And God said, “Firmament,

Be in the midst of the waters!

Divide the waters from the waters!”

Second Day.

3 Waters… And God said, “Waters under the heavens,

Be gathered together to one place!

Dry land, Appear!” Third Day.

4 Earth… And God said, “Earth,

bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed,

and the fruit tree yielding fruit after its kind,

whose seed is in itself, upon the earth!” Third Day.

5 Lights… And God said, “Lights,

Be in the firmament of the heavens,

to divide the day from the night!

Be for signs and for appointed times (holy days)

and for days and years!

Lights, Be in the firmament of the heavens

to give light upon the earth!” Fourth Day.

6 Waters…And God said, “Waters,

Teem abundantly with the moving creature that has life,

and fowl to fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven!”

“Be fruitful!

Multiply and fill the waters in the seas,

and fowl, multiply on the earth!” Fifth Day

7 Earth…And God said, “Earth,

Bring forth the living creature after its kind,

cattle and creeping thing and

beast of the earth after its kind!” Sixth Day

8 Then God spoke to Himself…

Then God said, “We will make mankind in our image,

after our likeness

and have dominion

over the fish of the sea,

over the fowl of the air,

over the cattle,

over all the earth,

and over every creeping thing

that creeps upon the earth.” Sixth Day

9 Mankind And God blessed them and God said to them,

“Be fruitful! Multiply!

Fill the earth!

Subdue it and have dominion

over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air

and over every living thing that moves upon the earth!”

10 Mankind… And God said,

“Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed

which is upon the face of all the earth,

and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed;

it will be food for you.

And to every beast of the earth,

to every fowl of the air,

and to everything that creeps upon the earth,

in which there is life,

I have given every green herb for food.” Sixth Day. ONMB
