Menorah days this week...

the Pattern of 7's for the CHRIST (as described in the Gospels)

Incarnation (Birth)... "you shall call His Name Y'shua... for He will save..." (His Name in Hebrew literally means salvation) Matthew 1:21

Inauguration (Baptism)... "this is my Beloved Son..." It was the beginning of His Ministry... which was followed by the Spirit leading Him to the Temptation. Luke 3:22

Temptation... "it is written..." Matthew 4:4, 7, 10

Transfiguration... "this is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him." Luke 9:35

Crucifixion... "It is Finished!" John 19:30

Resurrection... "He is not here... He is Risen." Matthew 16:6

Ascension/Return... "This Yeshua/Jesus, who has been taken away from you into heaven, will come back to you in just the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

9 Transformation - (Community-Family) Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Rom 12:2 NLT

10 Y'shua - (Promise) And she will give birth to a Son, and you will call His name Y’shua: for He will save His people from their sins.” Matt 1:21-22 ONMB

BABES in Christ--Newly born into the Kingdom and Family of God--May you learn to grow in Christ with simplicity... and if we are no longer BABES, may we return to the basics of simplicity in Him.

Week 7 - Day6Friday, February 14, 2025 Daily Reading Numbers 1-3

BABES in Christ... newly born-again... 6 Christ

As you grow in Christ you will begin to be mobile by spiritually crawling... then standing...then walking... and eventually running, and yes, soaring! You will learn to commit to memory the Word of God that will keep your mind "stayed on Him" that will bring you "peace that passes human understanding." After you have partaken of it you will be able to share it with others.

Do not rush this process of growth. Enjoy and embrace being a newborn, a child, and a young one staying close to those mature true believers who will guide you into your destiny with God. Even when we are mature, there is always someone with more experience in this journey... so I believe we will always need to have someone to help lead us in this life.

Maybe there is actually wisdom in God allowing us to have several generations of family as an example... do we glean the wisdom of the older generations? I have seen a definite decline in our culture of appreciating the wisdom of elders... and maybe an actual discard of them altogether... may this not be!

The Parable of the Sower (see Menu) talks about the SEED (the Word of God) that is scattered by Sower along the wayside and is stolen by the birds of the air. The SOIL is the heart of a person. Babes need to get God's Word into their heart to produce good soil (a heart that hungers and thirsts for Him) for that SEED (the Word) to take root in. The Word is the milk... so drink up! Make the soil of your heart rich!

Remember that... The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. Ps 19:8 NLT
