The Weeks...
...in this study will match your digital calendar week number, which is counted by Saturdays in the year. There is a little number on the calendar on your cell phone near Sunday... that indicates the number of Saturdays so far in the year. (See example below).
Week 1 is our Introduction Week in the Start Here pull-down menu.

We explore 10 Themes over 10 weeks through 5 Stages of Growth.
Stages of Growth-- Babes - Children - Young Ones - Mature Ones - Eternity!
I will bring a little teaching into Babes, but then as you go through the Stages, the main part of this Daily Devotional is to focus on the Patterns of each day and learn to find Scripture on your own with HolySpirit... Your Journal will be helpful for hindsight as you go... you will see where the LORD has met you in prayer and growth, so be sure to date your entries if you are not using a Planner as your Journal.
I love using my Planner as my Journal... I can write all the Patterns of each day and see my focus and my reading plan. I suggest looking around for Planners that have the week laid out horizontally from Sunday to Saturday for the weekly view... left page Su - We and right page Th - Sa. I found mine at Hobby Lobby. Target sells a Sugar Paper Planner that is a vertical week, but you have to scribble out Sunday at the bottom next to Saturday and move it to the margin on the next page to get the full week from Sun - Sat on one page. This still leaves room for appointments, etc.
Sunday to Saturday is the whole principle of this devotional. Sunday is Day 1 and climbs through the week to Saturday, Day 7. Wednesday is now a high day as the center of the Menorah Pattern instead of Hump Day!
This may be a new or foreign thought for you... would you try looking at this paradigm for a couple months to see if your life changes for the good? It was pretty epic for me to make this change. I was a business person and Saturday and Sunday were my days off work to get all my personal/home stuff taken care of back then. Now I view Sunday as the First day of the week to give to the LORD in community activities (church and gathering with friends/family) and Saturday is a day of REST that I use to reflect on the week the LORD has just given me. Sabbath is a touchy subject for American Christians, I know... but could you open your thinking just a bit to explore what a week from Sunday to Saturday could look like... how could it reduce stress for you-- yes! reduce stress because you are now viewing your week as a whole thing... instead of a month or a year or a season, which is so big. I have gained peace from doing life daily for ONE WEEK AT A TIME... I had to make changes in my boundaries of activities... you know, saying "no" to very good activities that were not fitting into my new schedule. I had to change the hours of My Day so I could get good sleep - very important and very much missing in our culture! I go to bed early and get up early. My first hours are going through the content that you see here. I have been practicing it for many years before sharing it here with you... and it works to keep my mind stayed on the LORD!
My life has seen trauma and drama and gains and losses... and through every season... Sunday to Sabbath has been a joy and a comfort! My email is in the About menu... let me know what you think about this after you have tried it for a while. Shalom & Blessings!
