Learning and being aware that Sunday is the first day of the week
is going to take some time in our culture.
It is even difficult to find paper Planners
that begin with Sunday as the top of the week!
When you realize that Saturday is the seventh day,
you only have one place to put Sunday… and that is first.
How is it going with having a daily focus
on the attributes of God's Presence with Menorah Days?
How difficult/easy is all of this for you?
We will continue to remind ourselves each week of this Pattern,
so just know this is a process that will continue
even when it might seem to be overly redundant.

Tuesday - A new DAY!
Menorah: Spirit of Wisdom
What is the Spirit of Wisdom?
Again, Who is the Spirit of Wisdom?
Do some research...
Theme: God
The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it.
The world and all its people belong to Him.
For He laid the earth's foundation on the seas
and built it on the ocean depths. Ps 24:1-2 NLT
"For the LORD your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords.
He is the great God, the mighty and awesome God... Deut 10:17 NLT
A god is something that is looked up to
and worshiped and revered and elevated...
a superior being or thing.
All cultures have always had their gods that are put up on a high place.
The Romans and the Greeks had gods.
The very days of our week are now named after gods.
SUNday for the Sun god... MONday for the Moon god... etc.
We today also have gods, though we may or may not realize it.
The singer Bob Dylan wrote a song about it... (Gotta' Serve Somebody).
What / Who is YOUR God?
What or Who is it that you look to for your Source of living or being?
The Egyptians were also famous for their gods…
and Pharoah was the highest of all of the gods worshiped in Egypt.
So when Moses and the Hebrew slaves were waiting
to get on with their Exodus from that place,
the LORD God (the Supreme Being)
was showing Pharoah with the Ten Plagues
that He was above all other gods.
Each plague was an rebuke against one of their gods.
(you can research this, too).
Sadly, Pharoah would not release God’s people.
God showed Pharoah the truth...
that he was simply a human
and there was only One True God of the Universe.
After the Hebrews were released and on their way,
God continued to show His people, the Hebrews, His great power
as He led them through the Red Sea on dry ground
and into the wilderness... meeting all their needs
and teaching them His ways
until they finally entered the Promised land.
So, Who is God?
We see
His Magnanimous Nature ~
His Patient Training ~
His Powerful Name ~
His Faithful Covenant ~
His Promised Inheritance
in the story of the Hebrews in the Bible.
We are made aware of God in the Torah stories
(Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy books of the Bible).
In these Torah-stories (which is actually ONE Continuing Story),
we learn Who God is by what He has done.
We see in the books of the Prophets what He has declared to do
and then we see Him do it as Time unfolds.
We read about His comfort and care in the Writings.
In the Gospels we see that God came from heaven to Personally share
His message of love to man.
In the Acts of the Apostles
we see how HolySpirit prepared the believers for adversity.
In the Letters and epistles
we see how God desires His children to follow Jesus
and bear their own cross as well as the burdens of others.
And finally in the Revelation of Yeshua Jesus
we see how God will finally finish His plan with the final warfare.
In short, we must read God's Love Letter to His Children,
the Bible,
to know Him.

Wednesday - A new DAY!
Menorah: What is the Spirit of YHVH?
Our Jewish Cousins pronounce this four-letter-Name of God
as either Adonai or Hashem (the Name)
Life.Light.Love.Live.LORD
What is Life?
There are three parts of Mankind that contain Life:
Physical Body-God formed Man (adam) from the earth (adamah)
… a living human...formed of humus (soil).
Our body interacts with the environment around us.
Inner Soul-God breathed into the nostrils of Man and he became a living soul.
a person’s personality...
their SELF...
including the operations of Mind/Intellect/Our Thinker…
Emotions/Attitudes/Our Feeler…
Will/Volition/Our Doer.
Our soul interacts with other souls (people).
Spiritual-God breathed His breath into Man and
he became living from God's Spirit within him...
Our spirit communes with God' Spirit.
Is this new to you?
See the Model of Man
in the Treasures of Truth
for more details on this.

Friday - A new DAY!
Menorah: What is the Spirit of Might?
Do some research...
Have you believed and confessed
that Jesus is the foretold Messiah…
the Son of God?
That He Lived, He Died, He Rose, and He Ascended…
and One day He will Return for His people.
When you are born again,
you will need to guard your decision to follow Jesus…
because the world and your circumstances will quickly tell you
that it is not real or not for you or too hard to do.
I have decided to follow Jesus!
No turning back... No turning back!
If you have also decided…
Welcome to the Kingdom of God!
May you enjoy the Journey
and learn to Trust in the LORD with all your heart!

Saturday - A new DAY!
Menorah: What is Reverence of Spirit of YHVH?
Do some research...
Most versions of the Bible will translate this as the Fear of the LORD...
and that is accurate...
but not in the way we interpret fear.
It is a reverent awe!
It is a deep respect.
I am intrigued that this attribute of God's Presence falls on the seventh day...
The Holy Sabbath.
The evening and the morning were one creation day,
so Jewish cousins (the first ones to honor Sabbath)
begin their Sabbath (Shabbat) just after sundown
on Friday night (which begins the seventh day)
and continue it until Saturday evening at sundown
(which ends the seventh day and begins the first all over again.)
ThisDay is our Sabbath Day Rest from Work.
How will you honor the LORD and make this day holy and set apart?
You have completed one week ...
with God holding things together by His Word…
Reflection: What blessings have you received this week?
What needs do you have to ask Him for?
What have you learned this week about God… or yourself… or others?
