Week 3 - Day2Monday, January 13, 2025 Daily Reading Genesis 21-25

Theme - 2The Word

Our Bibles contain the will of God... from the mind of God... written through over 40 authors who were inspired by Him... on 3 continents... written in 3 languages... over a period of nearly 2000 years... and all those pieces of ancient writing that were found over the years... came together... in what we call... The Word of God - The Bible - The Hebrew Tanakh - Scripture - Old and New Covenants (Testaments).

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1-2 ONMB

Check out Hebrews 4:12... See, the Word of God is alive! It is at work and is sharper than any double-edged sword — it cuts right through to where soul meets spirit and joints meet marrow, and it is quick to judge the inner reflections and attitudes of the heart...CJSB

We learn in 2Timothy 3:16,17 that the Word (the teaching/words in the Book) will be valuable to:

TeachTruth - Set them apart for holiness (sanctify) by means of the truth — Your word is truth. John 17:17-18 CJSB

ConvictOfSin - I have hidden Your Word in my heart so I would not sin against You. Ps 119:11 ONMB

CorrectFaults - I have restrained my feet from every bad way so I could keep Your word. Ps 119:101 ONMB

TrainInLiving - You must constantly remember your leaders, who spoke the Word of God to you, whose faith you must habitually imitate by observing carefully the result of their way of life. Heb 13:7-8 ONMB

BeEquipped - All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correcting faults, and training in right living; thus anyone who belongs to God may be fully equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17 CJSB

BERIT (Covenant) - L.I.G.H.T

There are five points of covenant that we use in this study and they can be related in this order...

Who What How Why Where/When ...all a very loose description that will be more clear as we go.

We will explore our next Kingdom/Covenant Pattern of 5's ... and I hope the beauty of pairing will become obvious. For this week, our Pattern of Covenant 5's is: L.I.G.H.T.

(Teach Truth) Lord - (Who) On this account then God raised Him to the highest rank and He freely gave Him the name above every name, so that at the name “Y’shua!” (Jesus) every knee of the heavenlies and the earthly and those below the earth would bow and every tongue would confess that Y’shua Messiah is Lord in the glory of God our Father. Phil 2:9-11 ONMB

(Convict of Sin) Instruction - (What) Reverence of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, and humility is before honor. Prov 15:33 ONMB

(Correct Faults) GodAlmighty - (How) "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Rev 11:17 NKJV

(Train in Living) Heart - (Why) “Listen! Obey, O Israel! The LORD is our God! The LORD is One! And you will love the LORD your God with all your heart, with your very being, and with all your might. Deut 6:4-5 ONMB

(Equipped) Troth - (Where/When) And this is the promise, which He promised to us, eternal life. 1 John 2:25 ONMB

As a BABE in Christ, we have the Word of God to depend upon that tells us about our Covenant with God... He can't lie.

Week 3 - Day4Wednesday, January 15, 2025 Daily Reading Genesis 31-33

S.I.M.P.L.I.C.I.T.Y. in Christ - reminders:

1 Source - "Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved." Rom 10:13 NLT

2 Instruction - All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness... 2Tim 3:16 NKJV

As BABES we don't enter knowing much about our new citizenship and the Kingdom/Family into which we have been born... so we must refer to the Operation Manual... the Word of God becomes the Living Word and will reveal Jesus (Y'shua) all through it. See the Start-Here-Menu for Day 4 about the Bible. Some call it Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth!

3 Ministry - And all things are from God, the One Who reconciled us to Himself through Messiah and Who gave us the ministry of reconciliation... 2 Cor 5:18-19 OneNewManBible (ONMB)

4 Plan - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but rather so that through Him, the world might be saved. John 3:16-17 CJB

5 Life.Light.Love - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things came through Him, and there was not one thing that came into being without His participation. 6 Intention - Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with His purpose; Rom 8:28 CJB

7 Completion - ...(Y’shua said,) “It has been completed,” John 19:30 ONMB

8 Intercession - First of all, then, I counsel that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all human beings, 1 Tim 2:1-2 CJB

9 Transformation - Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Rom 12:2 NLT

10 Y'shua - And she will give birth to a Son, and you will call His name Y’shua: for He will save His people from their sins.” Matt 1:21-22 ONMB

BABES in Christ--Newly born into the Kingdom and Family of God--May you learn to grow in Christ with simplicity... and when we mature from BABES, may we return to the basics of simplicity in Him.

Gospel in the Stars (Mazzarot) - STP

Mazzarot (Constellations)(Zodiak) for this week is still the sign of the Goat - Capricorn (we consult with the Maker of the Stars, not the sign). It still tells that there will be Life from Death in the Gospel in the Stars. Think of the scapegoat (Leviticus 16) and the Messiah coming to redeem us from the guilt and power of sin.

Week 3 - Day6Friday, January 17, 2025 Daily Reading Genesis 38-40

BABES in Christ... newly born-again... 2The Word-

What do you think of when you think of a newborn babe? They have needs that they cannot satisfy by themselves... They always NEED a caregiver... this usually is their parent(s). When you are born again into the Family of God, you need mature believers of faith to help you grow in your faith...to learn about your heavenly Father!

God has given spiritual milk for BABES in Christ... it is the Word of God... the Bible.

As you grow in Christ you will begin to be mobile by crawling... then standing...then walking... and eventually running. You will learn to commit to memory the Word of God and then, after you have partaken of it you will be able to share it with others. Do not rush this process of growth. Enjoy and embrace being a newborn, a child, and a young one staying close to those mature true believers who will guide you into your destiny with God.

Even when we are mature, there is always someone with more experience in this journey... so I believe we will always need elders to help lead us in this life.

The Parable of the Sower (see Menu) talks about the SEED (the Word of God) that is scattered by Sower along the wayside and is stolen by the birds of the air. The SOIL is the heart of a person. Babes need to get God's Word into their heart to produce good soil (a heart that hungers and thirsts for Him) for that SEED (the Word) to take root in. The Word is the milk... so drink up! Make the soil of your heart rich!

Matthew 6:21 reminds us that... "where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” ONMB

Is God's Kingdom your treasure... ?

For our Jewish cousins, sundown tonight is the beginning of Sabbath that will continue all day tomorrow until sundown. - Shabbat Shalom! (Sabbath of Peace).

SABBATH-2 The Word

Our Psalm 119 Word to ponder is

torah (H8451)- the first five books of the OT (Tanakh), also known as the Pentateuch.

translated in most translations as 'law', but the actually meaning is ‘teaching’ or ‘instruction’ to the Jewish mind...

O how I love Your Torah (Teaching)! It is my meditation the whole day. Ps 119:97 ONMB

Do we love God's torah... his teaching and instruction? Are you a teachable person? I learned very early from my elders that it is wisdom to always remain teachable... this keeps us humble. The more we love God, the more we will want to submit and yield to the teaching of HolySpirit found in the Word of God. That is a lot to ponder... especially if we have been trained by our English Bibles only into seeing torah translated only as LAW... Think of a young child, maybe Solomon, sitting at his mother's knee being trained in the ways of life that will bring success... THIS IS TORAH.

How do you Honor the Sabbath and Keep it Holy (set apart for God)?

“Remember the day, Shabbat, to set it apart for God. You have six days to labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Shabbat for Adonai your God.
