Menorah days this week...

the Pattern of 7's for the CHRIST (as described in the Gospels)

Incarnation (Birth)... "you shall call His Name Y'shua... for He will save..." (His Name in Hebrew literally means to save)

Inauguration (Baptism)... "this is my Beloved Son..." It was the beginning of His Ministry... which was followed by the Spirit leading Him to the Temptation.

Temptation... "it is written..."

Transfiguration... "this is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him."

Crucifixion... "It is Finished!"

Resurrection... "He is not here... He is Risen."

Ascension/Return... "This Yeshua/Jesus, who has been taken away from you into heaven, will come back to you in just the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

Week 17 - Day6Friday, April 25, 2025 Daily Reading 2 Kings 10-14

CHILDREN in Christ...6 Christ

As you grow in Christ you will begin to be mobile by spiritually crawling... then standing...then walking... and eventually running, and yes, soaring! You will learn to commit to memory the Word of God that will keep your mind "stayed on Him" that will bring you "peace that passes human understanding." After you have partaken of it you will be able to share it with others.

Do not rush this process of growth. Enjoy and embrace being a newborn, a child, and a young one staying close to those mature true believers who will guide you into your destiny with God. Even when we are mature, there is always someone with more experience in this journey... so I believe we will always need to have someone to help lead us in this life.

Maybe there is actually wisdom in God allowing us to have several generations of family as an example... do we glean the wisdom of the older generations? I have seen a definite decline in our culture of appreciating the wisdom of elders... and maybe an actual discard of them altogether... may this not be!

The Parable of the Sower (see Menu) talks about the SEED (the Word of God) that goes into stony soil and it doesn't get deep roots. So when life gets rough, they fall away from the LORD. The Soil is the heart of a person. Children need to get God's Word into their heart to produce good soil (a heart that hungers and thirsts for Him) for that SEED (the Word) to deeply take root in. The Word is the milk... so drink up! Make the soil of your heart rich!

Remember that... The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. Ps 19:8 NLT

Have you received His Joy in your heart?

For our Jewish cousins, sundown tonight is the beginning of Sabbath that will continue all day tomorrow until sundown. Shabbat Shalom! (Sabbath of Peace).
