Menorah Days
KEEPING MY MIND ON THINGS ABOVE!
Each ThisDay (Today)
can be like a mini-Sabbath!
Let’s SIT in SELAH…
BE STILL
and REST in the Prompts
with the Word and HolySpirit.
When we make SELAH time each day to slow down
and sit with our Bible~Journal~and HolySpirit,
we can listen for God’s Voice…
and then write what we hear …
because we forget so easily!
Perfect peace (shalom shalom in Isaiah 26:3)
is found by keeping our mind stayed (meditating) on Him…
In our busy world,
we need to make this time INTENTIONALLY…
it won’t JUST HAPPEN on its own.
In the times of the Ancient Hebrews
when GOD was revealing Himself to Mankind,
He had Moses build a temporary dwelling place
where He would meet with the priests.
Within this Tabernacle were the holy items used for worship.
One of the items was a Menorah…
a lampstand with seven lamps…
it represented His Holy Presence.
Where is my mind dwelling? Philippians 4:8.
The Seven Lamp Menorah gives us a focus for each day of the week.
In ThisDay, the Menorah Patterns/Prompts are shown below.
This Main Menorah Pattern will remain daily all year.
The Spirit of Adonai Y-(YHVH) will rest on Him,
the Spirit of W-Wisdom and the Spirit of U-Understanding,
the Spirit of C-Counsel and the Spiriti of M-Might (power),
the Spirit of the K-Knowledge of (YHVH) Adonai
And the fearing R-(Reverence) of the Spirit of (YHVH) Adonai — Isaiah 11:2 CJB
Our Patterns/Prompts will lay out like a weekly calendar below.
Su-K Mo-C Tu-W We-Y Th-U Fr-M Sa-R
YHVH- This is the Hebrew Holy Name of God
aka Tetragrammaton-(4 letters)
and is read as Hashem (the Name)
or Adonai (LORD) by Jewish followers.
YHVH is translated in our Bibles as LORD.
The Center menorah lamp is called the Shamash in Hebrew,
meaning Servant.
The Servant Lamp serves the other lamps
with the oil that keeps them burning…
interesting, huh?!
Take notice in the 4th Quarter
when we add the MenorahPlus Patterns/Prompts.
We have the entire year
to integrate these Prompts into our daily thought pattern
to keep our mind stayed on Him.
