Remember Me! ...the Lord Y’shua, on the night in which He was betrayed, took bread and after He gave thanks He broke it and said, “This is My body being given on your behalf: you must regularly do this in Remembrance of Me.” Likewise also the cup after supper saying, “This cup is the New Covenant by means of My blood: you must regularly do this, as often as you would drink it, in Remembrance of Me.” For as often as you would eat this bread and you would drink the cup, you are proclaiming publicly the death of the Lord until He would come. 1 Cor 11:23-26 ONMB

Week 5 - Day2Monday, January 27, 2025 Daily Reading Exodus 11-15

Theme - 4Mankind

Mankind has this focus:

The God we Serve: And it will be said in that day, Lo, this is our God. We have waited for Him and He will save us. This is the LORD! We have waited for Him. We will rejoice exuberantly and be glad in His deliverance/salvation. Isa 25:9-10 ONMB

The Voice we Follow: "... your ears will hear a word behind you saying, This is the Way, walk in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left. Isa 30:21-22 ONMB

The Promise we Embrace: The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, He is patient with you; for it is not His purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from his sins. However, the Day of the Lord will come “like a thief.” 2 Peter 3:9-10 CJB

The Ministry we Understand: “You must continually watch out for the ministry which you took in the Lord, so that you would fulfill it.” Col 4:17

The Things which Remain: This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Heb 12:27 NLT

God had a special intention for Mankind:

To be LOVED and to love - God, the Father wanted a Family of Spirit-born-children to love. We learn a little about family love by loving our own children. We share the love He gives to us with others. Do you know the love of the Father? How can you share it?

To BELONG - God, the Son wanted a Spiritual Body to express through... there is a place in His Community (church) where we each can receive and give of those gifts which He imparts for the work of the Kingdom. Big gifts and little gifts... all gifts that are necessary for the building up of the Body. Seen gifts and behind the scene gifts... what are your gifts? Are you sharing them?

To have PURPOSE and matter - God, the Spirit wanted a Temple in which could dwell... as our relationship with God grows deeper, we learn to know good and evil more clearly...we become holy, like He is holy. Where we go, He goes... because He dwells within our heart. Where does God need to go today?

God formed Adam(Mankind-Humans)from the ground, (adamah)-the humus soil. They were created as both Ish(Man-male) and Ishah(Woman-female... who was FROM Ish). Can you see how knowing the Hebrew roots of words can give us a greater understanding and meaning of what God really did? Adamah-Adam... Ish-Ishah... Humus-Humans. I never got that understanding until I began to dig deeper into Biblical Hebrew... more to come!

Then God said, "WE WILL MAKE Mankind in our image, after our likeness and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." He made them male and female and then God said, "Be fruitful! Multiply! Fill the earth! Subdue it and have dominion..." And God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; it will be food for you." Genesis 1:26 ONMB

As a BABE in Christ you can begin to learn about your Purpose... about where you Belong... and about the Great Love of our Father!

BERIT (Covenant) - F.A.I.T.H.

Who What How Why Where/When ...all a very loose description that will be more clear as we go.

We will explore our next Covenant Pattern of 5's ... and I hope the beauty will become obvious. For this week, our Pattern of Covenant 5's is: F.A.I.T.H

(God/Serve) Father - (Who) For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to bring you back again into fear; on the contrary, you received the Spirit, who makes us sons and by whose power we cry out, “Abba!” (that is, “Dear Father!”). Rom 8:15 CJSB

(Voice/Follow) Arrangement - (What) ...the One Who rescues us and calls us to a holy calling, not according to our works but according to His own Purpose and grace, because that grace was given to us by Messiah Y’shua before eternal time... 2 Tim 1:9-10 ONMB

(Promise/Embrace) Infinite - (How) Great is our Lord and of great power: His understanding is infinite. Ps 147:5 ONMB

(Ministry/Understand) Trust - (Why) The God of my Rock, in Him will I trust. 2 Sam 22:3 ONMB

(Things/Remain) Heritage - (Where/When) The Spirit Himself bears witness with our own spirits that we are children of God; and if we are children, then we are also heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with the Messiah... Romans 8:16-17 CJSB

S.I.M.P.L.I.C.I.T.Y. in Christ - reminders:

4 Plan - (Mankind) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed. 5 Life.Light.Love - (Salvation) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. 6 Intention - (Christ) Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with His purpose; Rom 8:28 CJB

7 Completion - (TheCross)...(Y’shua said,) “It has been completed,” John 19:30 ONMB

8 Intercession - (Prayer) First of all, then, I counsel that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all human beings, 1 Tim 2:1-2 CJB

9 Transformation - (Community) Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Rom 12:2 NLT

10 Y'shua - (Promise) And she will give birth to a Son, and you will call His name Y’shua: for He will save His people from their sins.” Matt 1:21-22 ONMB

BABES in Christ--Newly born into the Kingdom and Family of God--May you learn to grow in Christ with simplicity... and if we are no longer BABES, may we return to the basics of simplicity in Him.

BABES in Christ... newly born-again... 4 Mankind

Theologians have noticed a connection of God having a triune-Father.Son.Spirit - being and Mankind also having a similar three-part being.

May the God of shalom make you completely holy — may your entire spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless for the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. 1 Thess 5:23-24 CJSB

As you grow in Christ you will begin to be mobile by spiritually crawling... then standing...then walking... and eventually running, and yes, soaring! You will learn to commit to memory the Word of God that will keep your mind "stayed on Him" that will bring you "peace that passes human understanding." After you have partaken of it you will be able to share it with others.

Do not rush this process of growth. Enjoy and embrace being a newborn, a child, and a young one staying close to those mature true believers who will guide you into your destiny with God. Even when we are mature, there is always someone with more experience in this journey... so I believe we will always need to have someone to help lead us in this life.

The Parable of the Sower (see Menu) talks about the SEED (the Word of God) that is scattered by Sower along the wayside and is stolen by the birds of the air. The SOIL is the heart of a person. Babes need to get God's Word into their heart to produce good soil (a heart that hungers and thirsts for Him) for that SEED (the Word) to take root in. The Word is the milk... so drink up! Make the soil of your heart rich!

Remember that... The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. Ps 19:8 NLT
