Week 6 - Day1Sunday, February 2, 2025 Daily Reading Proverbs 2 if on the Sunday Only Plan

Menorah days this week...

the Pattern of 7's for the SALVATION... The Armor of God

Therefore, stand! Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist, put on righteousness for a breastplate, and wear on your feet the readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom. Always carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the Evil One. And take the helmet of deliverance; along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of God; as you pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s people. Eph 6:14-18 CJSB

Belt/Truth--We gird up our core with TRUTH... we memorize verses of Scripture to battle the onslaught of lies that are constantly flung at us in this world.

Breastplate/Righteousness--Our heart must be pure before the LORD...

Shoes/Gospel.Peace--Wherever we go we bring the Gospel of Peace with us...

Shield/Faith--The Adversary will aim at destroying our Faith... we must hold fast to what we know is True about the LORD and our Salvation.

Helmet/Salvation--Our mind is also under attack in our world... being very sure of our Salvation will keep us grounded.

Sword/Word--The Word of God is our offensive weapon... we use God's very words to battle the lies of the Adversary.

All Prayer/Spirit--I include All kinds of Prayer in the Spirit as the final, and maybe the most powerful weapon in the spirit realm.

Line up the days of the week with the Main Isaiah 11:2 Pattern. (See Days in pull-down menu). Then we add the The Word Pattern of 7's for this week as well...

We accept the initial Invitation of the LORD to be born again for Salvation. When we accept the free gift of eternal life, we are given TOOLS to get us through each day of work for the Kingdom.

BERIT (Covenant) - G.R.A.C.E.

There are five points of covenant that we use in this study and they can be related in this order...

Who What How Why Where/When ...all a very loose description that will be more clear as we go.

We will explore our next Covenant Pattern of 5's ... and I hope the beauty will become obvious. For this week, our Pattern of Covenant 5's is: G.R.A.C.E.

(Nature) God - (Who)

(Word) Righteousness- (What)

(Name) All in All - (How)

(Blood) Covenant - (Why)

(Spirit) Eternity - (Where/When)

Covenant is a term we don't use in our everyday language. It simply means Promise, Vow, Agreement, Treaty, Contract... look it up in a Thesaurus- my favorite dinosaur! Though we may not use the language every day, we DO make covenants... when we buy a house or anything on credit... when we are joined to a spouse under the law of the state... basically, when we sign our signature to anything we are making a covenant... a promise... a vow... a contract.

S.I.M.P.L.I.C.I.T.Y. in Christ - reminders:

4 Plan - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed. 8 Intercession - First of all, then, I counsel that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all human beings, 1 Tim 2:1-2 CJB

9 Transformation - Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Rom 12:2 NLT

10 Y'shua - And she will give birth to a Son, and you will call His name Y’shua: for He will save His people from their sins.” Matt 1:21-22 ONMB

BABES in Christ--Newly born into the Kingdom and Family of God--May you learn to grow in Christ with simplicity... and when we are no longer BABES, may we return to the basics of simplicity in Him.

Week 6 - Day6Friday, February 7, 2025 Daily Reading Leviticus 6-10

BABES in Christ... newly born-again... 5 Salvation

The Parable of the Sower (see Menu) talks about the SEED (the Word of God) that is scattered by Sower along the wayside and is stolen by the birds of the air. The SOIL is the heart of a person. Babes need to get God's Word into their heart to produce good soil (a heart that hungers and thirsts for Him) for that SEED (the Word) to take root in. The Word is the milk... so drink up! Make the soil of your heart rich!

Remember that... The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. Ps 19:8 NLT

Have you received His Joy in your heart?

For our Jewish cousins, sundown tonight is the beginning of Sabbath that will continue all day tomorrow until sundown. Shabbat Shalom! (Sabbath of Peace).
